Both, the police and the law student are wrong. The police should have acknowledged his rights immediately and the student should have used those rights in a mature manner. The police have made everything "we are against you matter" and the result is the breakdown of the legal system. The law student is reflecting the unprofessionalism of his education.Reply
The case for the importance of a citizen knowing his/her rights couldn’t be demonstrated any better than this. Watch this law student thoroughly educate police who stopped him for lawfully carrying a firearm.
