Overview
Brown Creek Campground iis located along the shore of the South Fork Skokomish River at the confluence with Brown Creek. Evergreen conifers and hardwoods provide lots of shade at this campground. Campsites at this location is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you are able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Scan & Pay feature on the Recreation.gov mobile app. Please download the free Recreation.gov mobile app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service. Adding a payment method to the app before arrival is recommended as well.This location is unstaffed. To speak with our main office for general information, please call: (360) 765-2200.There are 20 campsites in Brown Creek Campground: twelve will accommodate trailers and RVs (No Hookups available) and eight of the sites are suitable for tents. - From Shelton,WA take US Highway 101 for 6 miles north. Then turn west onto the Skokomish Valley Road. Follow Skokomish Valley Road for about 8 miles to the forest boundary. Continue on Forest Road 23 for about another 5 miles to Forest Service Road 2353. Turn right and drive approximately 3/4 mile to the South Fork Skokomish River Bridge. Cross the bridge and make a sharp turn to the right onto Forest Service Road 2340. Brown Creek Campground is located 1/4 mile beyond this point.

Most campsites can only accomodate 1 vehicle, no other parking within campground. Please keep this in mind while planning and book campsites accordingly. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles.
