Overview
This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Campsites may not be reserved in advance. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Visitors can pay by cash on site, or by using Scan and Pay. Download the Recreation.gov mobile app before you arrive at the campground, and pay through your phone using the Scan and Pay QR code which is located on site. The trailhead for Indian Heaven Trail #33, a popular and challenging trail into the wilderness, is located in the campground. Cultus Creek Trail #108 is also located near the campground. For facility specific information, please call (509) 395-3400.Cultus Creek Campground is located in a pristine wooded setting on the boundary of Indian Heaven wilderness. The campground is near tradition huckleberry picking fields which make it quite popular in huckleberry season.

- From Trout Lake, Washington drive west on Highway 141. At the forest boundary Highway 141 becomes Forest Road 24. Continue west on Forest Road 24 past Peterson Prairie Campground to the intersection with Forest Road 60. At the intersection turn right to stay on Forest Road 24 and continue north to Cultus Creek Campground, at approximately 9 miles past the intersection with Forest Road 60.

A valid Recreation Pass is required at Cultus Creek/Indian Heaven trailheads. This $5 fee is separate from the campground fee. Valid recreation passes include: $5 day use fee, Northwest Forest Annual pass, and any of the Interagency Passes. These passes are NOT applicable at the campground.
