According to Chief Floyd’s interview with KATU News, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office determined that suspect Benjamin Parker had traveled north to Enumclaw, prompting the Oregon agency to request assistance from local police. Enumclaw officers located Parker’s vehicle in the city and found him dead inside. Authorities believe he died by suicide.
