Cole Street Gets a Plant Store With Carnivorous Specimens and Chunky Soil

Esa’s Dirty Plant Mix has opened at 1362 Cole Street, offering monsteras, calatheas, carnivorous plants, and a proprietary soil mix to Enumclaw’s plant-loving community.

ENUMCLAW, WA—A Cole Street storefront is now home to Enumclaw’s newest small business: Esa’s Dirty Plant Mix, a plant shop stocking an unusually wide range of greenery alongside its own chunky soil blend and plant merchandise. The shop carries monsteras, calatheas, begonias, philodendrons, peperomias, and carnivorous plants, covering the spectrum from low-key desk companions to the kind of plant that eats things.

The in-house soil mix is sold alongside the plants, which means a single stop on Cole Street can handle both the impulse buy and the responsible follow-through. Esa’s Dirty Plant Mix is open Thursdays through Mondays at 1362 Cole Street.

For a town that has long required a drive to find a dedicated plant shop, that’s a welcome development—especially for anyone whose monstera has been quietly judging their potting mix for years.
