Traditionally Black Diamond had a hard time supporting any dining establishments beyond the bakery. It’s been a decade since I tried -

I liked this experience and it looked like good clientele to me.

I went for lunch, which is new for the grill. The waitress was prompt and competent. I’m a good cook, so I’m fussy.

I had a simple meatball sandwich with fries. First thing about meatballs - can’t be big, second thing, can’t be dry.

These were small and juicy - could not tell if they were homemade because the size and coloring looked package, but good nevertheless.

Sauce was good, just the right amount of cheese and it was stuffed in a artisan roll. French fries decent. Ice tea good.

I’d go again, perhaps for diner.”
