Mexican food in Enumclaw: 6 places and a $7 taco Tuesday

Mexican food in Enumclaw: six restaurants and taco stops, with dishes and prices from their own menus, a $7 Tuesday taco deal and happy hour times.
Enumclaw has four sit-down Mexican restaurants and two taco stops that this site could confirm open as of October 2026: El Camino, El Ranchito and Maguey's Grill on Griffin Avenue, Mazatlan on Roosevelt Avenue East, Pita's Taqueria on McHugh Avenue and the Taqueria El Corral truck, also on Roosevelt. Two of them, El Ranchito and Mazatlan, post full menus with prices on their own websites; on those two, a combination plate costs $13.50 to $19.95, and El Ranchito's top price is $32.95, for its Carne Asada and Prawns. Prices are as listed on the restaurants' own websites and Mazatlan's ordering page on October 6, 2026, and change.
El Ranchito prices its Carne Asada, grilled skirt steak, at $25.95 among its house specials and at $15.95 on the lunch menu it serves until 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Mazatlan does not open until 3 and keeps a calendar instead: three street tacos for $7 on Tuesdays, three crispy tacos for $7 on Thursdays and, on Sundays, "Kids Eat for $1.99," by its specials page.
1. El Ranchito and its six-page menu
El Ranchito is the restaurant inside the GuestHouse Inn at 1000 Griffin Avenue, and its menu, a six-page file on its website, was last revised in May 2025. The state's license list calls it Ranchito #2. This site's Cole Street dining guide gave it two sentences in September 2026; the menu runs a good deal longer.
Thirty numbered combination plates run from $16.50 to $19.95, a taco, an enchilada and a tamal among them at $18.95. The menu spells its green-sauce enchilada Enchilada Zuiza: chicken or beef rolled in a corn tortilla under tomatillo sauce, cheese and sour cream, $14.95, or $17.50 for two. Camarones, prawns, come six ways for $23.95, from A la Diabla, in a hot red sauce, to Apretalados, wrapped in bacon for $2 more. Siete Mares, Spanish for seven seas, is a $26.50 seafood soup whose menu entry names six: prawns, octopus, scallops, fish, shrimp and crab.
A Margarita is $10.75, or $13.95 large, and a Patron Margarita $14.50 or $16.75. Call 360-802-9625 before a late dinner.
2. Maguey's Grill and the mango chipotle chicken
Maguey's Grill, at 352 Griffin Avenue, calls itself family-owned, and its website, which carries a 2025 copyright, puts its time in Enumclaw at more than seven years. The site posts no prices. The home page speaks of "our famous mango chipotle chicken," which the menu page lists as Pollo Mango Chipotle: chicken breast under a sauce of mango and chipotle, the smoked jalapeño.
The same page calls Cielo, Mar y Tierra, a plate of beef, chicken and shrimp meant to stand for land, sea and sky, "This signature dish." Maguey's Steak, seasoned with a house spice blend, is "A customer favorite!" by the menu's account, and the Tacos de Birria, filled with slow-cooked meat, come with consommé, the cooking broth, on the side for dipping. The website's contact page gives the hours as 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, as of October 2026; some listings show earlier weekend openings, so call (360) 825-1388.
3. Mazatlan, open from 3 p.m., with a specials calendar
Mazatlan, at 951 Roosevelt Avenue East, is one of a chain. Its website, signed by Andres Cardenas, says his father, Don Andrés Cárdenas, founded the Mazatlan restaurants, and the state's license list names this one Mazatlan Restaurant #5. Roosevelt Avenue is the town's stretch of State Route 410, so Mazatlan sits on the drive from Enumclaw to Crystal Mountain.
The menu says every item is "made from scratch in our kitchen." On that page, combination plates with rice and refried beans are $13.95 for one item, $14.95 for two and $15.95 for three; the restaurant's Toast ordering page, which prices every dish the two pages share higher, lists the same plates at $15.95, $17.50 and $18.50, and four items for $19.95. The Tour of Mexico, $22.95 on the menu page and $25.95 on the ordering page, puts carne asada, a chile relleno and a mole chicken enchilada on one plate. Two dishes carry names the menu never explains: the Hollenbeck Chalupa, $15.95 on the menu page and $17.95 on the ordering page, and the Parker Special, $19.50 and $25.95, which is arroz con pollo with extra vegetables and cheese.
The Tuesday tacos have crept up: an archived copy of the specials page from November 2021 offered three for $5.95. Hours are 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 3 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, by its website as of October 2026; the number is (360) 825-3544.
4. Taqueria El Corral, the truck by the ski shop
Taqueria El Corral is a taco truck, by its listings, at 240 Roosevelt Avenue East, an address it shares with Enumclaw Ski & Mountain Sports. A corral is a stock pen, an apt name in a town that grew up on dairy farms. This site found no menu, prices or hours posted by the truck itself; its listings give the number as (253) 217-3289.
5. Pita's Taqueria, also listed as Taqueria Pita's
The taqueria at 1547 McHugh Avenue goes by two names: Yelp and one Facebook page call it Pita's Taqueria, while TripAdvisor and a second Facebook page call it Taqueria Pita's. Yelp files it under food stands. Unlike El Corral, it has its own website, which links an online ordering page listing tortas, which are Mexican sandwiches, along with burritos, tacos, quesadillas and tamales. That page shows only the current day's ordering hours, so call (360) 226-3273, the number on its website, before you go.
6. El Camino, the restaurant in the photograph
El Camino Restaurant, at 1225 Griffin Avenue, is the restaurant pictured above, on the ground floor of a two-story brick building. Its state license to serve spirits, beer and wine, renewed in January 2026, was active on the Liquor and Cannabis Board's list of on-premise licensees dated September 29, 2026. It has been at this address since at least March 2019, when a photograph now on Wikimedia Commons caught a card in its window reading El Camino Family Restaurant.
This site found no website, menu, prices or hours published by El Camino itself. The posters in its window in October 2023 advertised molcajetes, meals served in a stone mortar, but a 2023 window is not a 2026 menu. Call 360-825-5999, the number on its window in both photographs and on its state license.
Is there a Mexican happy hour in Enumclaw?
Mazatlan has one: its menu lists happy hour daily from 3 to 6 p.m., when a specialty grande margarita is $6, against $9.50 on the regular drinks list, and small plates such as chicken taquitos and super nachos are $8.95. Visit Rainier's 2023 listing gives the hours as 4 to 6, so check before planning around the first hour. On Mondays, the specials page says, grande margaritas go for the happy hour price. El Ranchito's menu lists no happy hour. For the alehouse on Cole Street instead, see what is on the Mint's menu.
Where can you get menudo in Enumclaw?
Maguey's Grill lists menudo, a soup of beef tripe and hominy, on DoorDash and Postmates as of October 2026, though its website does not name it, so call (360) 825-1388 before you go. Neither El Ranchito's menu nor Mazatlan's menu page or ordering page lists it. Pita's own ordering page has no soup section, and this site found no menu posted by El Camino or Taqueria El Corral, so for those two a phone call is the only test. El Ranchito and Mazatlan list tortilla soup instead: El Ranchito's Sopa de Tortilla is $17.75, or $13.95 on the lunch menu, and Mazatlan's Chicken Tortilla Soup is $14.50 on its menu page and $16.95 on its ordering page.
What time do Enumclaw's Mexican restaurants open?
Maguey's Grill opens at 11 a.m. every day, El Ranchito at noon and Mazatlan at 3 p.m., by their websites. Of the three that post hours, Maguey's closes latest, at 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday; Mazatlan also runs to 10 on Friday and Saturday. El Camino and Taqueria El Corral post no hours of their own that this site could find, and Pita's ordering page shows only the current day's ordering hours, so call.
Before you go
Check the day's hours on the restaurant's own website or by phone: El Ranchito's site lists noon to 9 p.m. every day as of October 2026, and Mazatlan's specials page is where to confirm the Tuesday tacos. Treat El Ranchito's May 2025 prices as a guide, and Visit Rainier says it has free parking on site. Taco Time, Taco Bell and Chipotle each list an Enumclaw location on their store finders, on Watson Street North, Roosevelt Avenue and Stevenson Avenue. If the table votes for pizza instead, here are Enumclaw's pizza places.
